The Authority reviewed the implementation of the 1st quarter plan. The Addis Ababa City Environmental Protection Authority reviewed the implementation of the 1st quarter plan with the management and employees of the authority. It was assessed that the work done during the preparation period was better, but some limitations and gaps were noted during the implementation. The General Manager of the Authority, Ato Dida Diriba, stated that each work unit should be responsible for managing the given plan in order to correct the current gaps and record better performance in the future. The Deputy Managing Director of the Authority, Ato Asegdew Hailegiorgis, stated that the results recorded in the 1st quarter were not as expected and that the management and employees should work together with strict discipline to achieve better performance in the future. He emphasized that some departments need to be provided with necessary resources and that creating a comfortable working environment is a special focus.
